Schema for SEO

So many people focus on the way their websites look only. That is an important thing however the code very important for those who care about their SEO ranking. Part of SEO is having the correct content, the other part is having the right code.

Here is a great post about using schema, which I make sure to add in to the sites I create. Not only is semantic markup important but adding in things like schema will help search engines understand your content. Schema.org provides a collection of shared vocabularies webmasters can use to mark up their pages in ways that can be understood by the major search engines: Google, Microsoft, Yandex and Yahoo!

There are some websites, such as web apps that aren’t content heavy. One thing they can do is add schema to whatever data they may have and also have a side blog to generate more content.

What’s the point of a pretty website if no one is going to see it? Check out more information about schema and how to implement it on your website.
